Shetland Classic Motor Show 2022

Planning is well underway for the 2022 Shetland Classic Motor Show, to be held on 4th and 5th June.  Following the success of having the motorcycles displayed in Clickimin Bowls Hall in 2018, this will be continued in 2022.

As always, any make, model and age of motorcycle will be welcome. However, 2022 also sees the introduction of "themed" displays for both cars and motorcycles. This could be a particular make, or a type of vehicle, e.g. Norton or off-roader.  In an attempt to interest younger motorcyclists to participate in the Show, and hopefully the Club too, the theme for 2022 is Japanese motorcycles. With a growing interest in 1970s and '80s bikes, and a number of recent local restorations and acquisitions, this should make for an interesting side display. So dust off that SS50 or Katana lurking in the back of the shed and book it in to Clickimin for June! There will also be a feature on off-road bikes too. So if you have a TY175 or RM 250, you can tick both Japanese and off-road in one go!
